This policy applies to the ChartKo website. The operator, chartko administrator, receives privacy enquiries and requests at the email address below.

You can browse public statistics without signing up. The statistical sources contain aggregate data, separate from information processed through email enquiries and website use.

Information and purposes

  • Email enquiries: we use your email address, name or display name, message and attachments that you send to respond and resolve the issue.
  • Access logs: IP addresses, access times, requested pages, browser information and error details may be recorded to deliver the service, diagnose problems and respond to security incidents.
  • Usage analytics: visited pages, referral sources, browser and device information, cookie identifiers and usage records help us understand visits and improve the service.

Google Analytics and Naver Analytics

ChartKo uses Google Analytics (Google LLC) and Naver Analytics (NAVER Corporation). These services may receive information from your browser and use cookies to analyse visits and usage.

Google AdSense advertising

ChartKo is preparing to serve Google AdSense ads. When ads are served, Google and third-party advertising providers may use cookies to deliver ads based on earlier visits to this and other websites.

Google's advertising cookies may let Google and its partners personalise ads using visit history. You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising through Google's My Ad Center and third-party advertising choice tools.

Opting out of personalisation does not remove all ads. Separate consent and choice processes may apply depending on your region and the advertising provider.

Retention and deletion

Enquiry emails are kept for up to one year after receipt, and service access logs for up to one year after collection. Information may be deleted sooner when it is no longer needed for its purpose.

After the retention period, personal information is deleted using methods that make recovery difficult. Where a legal duty requires separate retention, it is kept only for the scope and period required by that duty.

Your rights and safeguards

You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing of your personal information by email. We may request the minimum information needed to verify your identity and handle the request.

ChartKo uses HTTPS and restricted administrator access to help protect information. Do not include sensitive information beyond what is necessary for a privacy request.

Changes to this policy

We update this page and its effective date when information practices, purposes or services change. Significant changes will be announced on the website before they take effect.
